It is best if you visit your dentist every six months. During this visit, the dentist will conduct a routine examination of your teeth. On top of that, the dentist may also suggest to you that you should get your teeth cleaned, in case there is an excess buildup of tartar and plaque.

Apart from these, the professional will also look for visual cues that would indicate the presence of gum disease, cavities, cancer or related oral health issues.
